DEMURRAGE & SURCHARGE

Brokerage Changes : April 1st 2008

Please note that effective April 1st 2008, Atlantic Container Line will be adjusting the following Eastbound
commissions :

1 ) Containerized Cargo moving Crossborder

Where applicable, brokerage payable on containerized US cargo moving via Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, will be:

USD 20.00 per 20ft Container
USD 40.00 per 40ft Container

2) Non-Containerizable Cargo from USEC to Continental Ports

Where applicable, Freight Forwarders Compensation payable on non-containerizable cargo moving to Continental ports will be:

2.00 per cent of the port-to-port rate

North American Inland Fuel Surharges

Effective April 24th 2008, ACL will be resetting its North American fuel related surcharges( USIFS & CIFS )
as noted below.

  Current April 24 2008
USIFS 25.00 % 30.00 %
CIFS 30.00 % 35.00 %

These remain valid until further notice.

TACA BAF/CAF & ACL IFP valid thru 15 May 2008

Based upon the latest monitoring of fuel prices, TACA’s Bunker Adjustment

Factor (BAF), will be held unchanged for a further period of thirty days, through, at least, May 15th,2008 at the following levels:

Traffic to/from and via:
Atlantic/Gulf Coast Ports Pacific Coast Ports
$ 607 per 20ft container $ 911 per 20ft container
$ 1214 per 40/45ft container $ 1822 per 40/45ft container
WM $61.00 WM $91.00

The Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF), based on the latest monitoring exercise, will remain unchanged at 12% (Twelve percent) through, at least, May 15th, 2008.
