Logistics Analyst

This is an entry level type position where we can train and grow the individual to work in several areas including equipment control, intermodal, finance and M&R.

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for the following logistics tasks:

• RORO inland transportation quotation and dispatch
• Route carrier haulage shipments
• Prepare documentation for RORO delivery
• Monitor transport vendors and daily operations
• Maintain import summary for inland transportation
• Review shipments for weight and haz-mat compliance
• Monitor Blume CarrierGo carrier performance
• Review transport invoicing
• Intermodal vessel audits
• Expand and oversee Transload operation
• Expand and oversee Transload operation

Qualifications

• Idea candidate will have a logistics background with 0-5 years industry experience with college degree preferred in business or logistics.
• Requires knowledge of Microsoft Excel – Ability to create and organize worksheets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to competently manage multiple tasks and work under pressure

Position will Interact with Customer Service, Logistics, Sales, Trades and vendors/suppliers.
