ACL consistently provides products and services that meet applicable statutory and regulatory requirements through improvements of our system and the assurance of conformity with this Quality Management System Standard:

C-TPAT

C-TPAT ACL’s C-TPAT number 72047095. ACL has been a certified member of the U.S. Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) since its inception. C-TPAT is a joint government-business initiative to build cooperative relationships that strengthen overall supply chain and border security.

When U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s C-TPAT program announced new Sea Carrier requirements March 1, 2006 with implementation required by June 1, 2006, ACL was one of the first. It requires that Sea Carriers screen new customers beyond financial soundness, to include indicators of whether the customer appears to be a legitimate business. PIP

Partners in Protection (PIP) is a voluntary joint Government of Canada-Business initiative to build cooperative relationships. that strengthen overall supply chain and border security. ACL’s PIP Member Number: 11102-11208. ACL is a certified Member of Canada’s Partner in Protection.

Atlantic Container Line strongly encourages its Customers and all Partners is the supply chain to join PIP and to follow the initiatives set out thus securing a more secure supply chain for their employees , suppliers and customers.

AEO certification

AEO status is a certified standard authorization issued by customs administrations in the European Union (EU). It certifies that an economic operator has met certain standards in relation to safety, security along with systems to manage commercial records. ACL is proud to be certified as follows.

ISSC Vessel Certification

ACL’s fleet carry the International Ship Security Certification (ISSC). The vessels security systems and security equipment have been verified and complies with all expected requirements. ACL was proud to have achieve certification for its vessels prior to a July 1, 2004’s mandate.

Qualship 21 Certificates

The U.S. Coast Guard ‘s Quality Shipping for the 21st Century Program (Qualship 21) is aimed at recognizing and rewarding internationally-flagged, high-quality vessels operating within U.S. waters. ACL achieved certification for all five of its vessels.
