Niels Winther Liner Agencies (NWLA) is Expanding With a New Route to North America

Since 1967, ACL has been a leading carrier in the transatlantic market with a direct, weekly service to New York, Baltimore Norfolk and Halifax. With Halifax offering an express route to Central Canada and the U.S. Midwest. ACL ensures a reliable connection between Europe and North America.

ACL’s unique combination RORO/containerships (CONRO) are the only vessels of their kind in the world and can transport a variety of cargo types. The ships which are 296 meters long, have a capacity for 3,800 TEUs (as well as special decks for 1,000 cars and 4,000 lane meters of cargo including agricultural and construction equipment, machinery, trains, boats, trailers and break-bulk cargo on mafis. The ship’s 420 quarter-ramp makes it possible to load very large and heavy objects, with a door height of 21.60 M high x 8 M wide.

NWLA has more than 25 years of experience in transport solutions within RoRo, project cargo and container freight markets. The Company has offices in Copenhagen and Esbjerg. The office at the Port in Esbjerg performs Port agency tasks for several RoRo shipping companies.
