By calling NIT, Atlantic Container Line maintains weekly service reliability and avoids congestion-related delays. The terminal’s fluid gate operations and berth availability support ACL’s commitment to consistent transit times and customer satisfaction.
NIT has dedicated zones for container and RoRo operations. These capabilities align with Atlantic Container Line’s vessel specifications and cargo mix, ensuring smooth operations for both containerized and oversized cargo.
With its’ location at 7737 Hampton Blvd., NIT offers direct access to Interstate 64 and on-dock rail connections with Norfolk Southern and CSX.

Monday–Friday, 6 AM – 6 PM
- Portal Closure: 5 PM (last inbound unit)
- Hazardous Moves: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 3 PM
- Reefer: Final Reefer pick-up at 4:30 PM

- Cargo: Final date & time for receiving cargo at port of loading. Excludes used‐self propelled which are subject to US Customs rules and may need to be on terminal earlier.
